Jung Sung San
Jung discloses the horrific destiny of his childhood sweetheart, who was sent to Yodok because her father was accused of espionage. She died in Yodok. Jung’s parents were executed because he fled. The musical becomes imperative to him. He hopes it will enlighten people about the cruelties in North Korea. During the production process Jung receives death threats.
